Step into the world of ancient and modern sports with the Summer Olympics! Discover the stories behind the newest events of skateboarding, breakdancing, and sport climbing that attract athletes and artists alike! During each 14-week semester-long class, we will learn about art and artists from a variety of art eras and the significance of the artwork in history. Along with our historical artists, we will study contemporary artists who use similar techniques and ideas in their work today. Through hands-on projects and activities, students will have the opportunity to employ what they learn about these old masters and new makers.
