Homec classes occur on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays for students (ages 7-12). Taking on lessons like natural fabric dyeing, jam making, crocheting, sewing, and more. There will be two topics covered a month.
Additionally, our teachers use a variety of techniques during each lesson to help students of all learning styles to understand and comprehend each area of study. Lessons have been designed with specific age ranges and multiple ability levels in mind.
Our Homec Classes are expanding in Fall 2026! We will have 3 hour classes Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. There will only be ONE session per topic!

Sept 22 & 23: Naturally Dyeing Fabrics Discover how nature provides its own rainbow! Students will experiment with leaves, roots, and flowers to extract natural dyes and learn how to prepare fabric for coloring. Using their custom-made dyes, students will transform clothing or fabric pieces into beautiful, naturally colored creations to take home.
