Description

Unravel the fascinating stories behind the iconic stars and vibrant stripes from the flag of the original 13 colonies to our present-day flag. Uncover the hidden symbolism and rich tales woven into every thread of the US flag as we explore the contributions of key figures like Francis Hopkinson, Robert G. Heft and other flag enthusiasts.

During this half-day class each student will receive a course booklet to help with our exploration of this subject and will create 2-3 works of art. As students leave, they will be taking with them their finished masterpiece(s), booklet and resources to continue exploring this topic at home!
