Description
Let’s get creative and paint on canvas! This box includes materials and instruction for creating your own tape resist artwork – a cool technique that holds a fun surprise at the end! This is a great activity for ages 2 to 102. We recommend those under the age of 5 have parental supervision while completing this project.
To complete this fun project we have included tape, canvas, paints and more. Use the color mixing chart to learn how to make new colors.
Your Box Includes:
- 8″ x 10″ Blank Canvas
- Masking Tape
- Paints (6 colors of acrylic)
- Paint Brush
- Paint Tray (for mixing additional colors)
- Water Cup
- Instructions & Color Mixing Chart
Additional Supplies not Included:
- Newspaper or other paper (used to cover your work surface)
- Paper Towel or cloth (used to dry brush in between color use)
- Black Permanent Marker (optional)
REUSE AND RECYCLE :: With this purchase you are HELPING to reduce, resuse and recycle! Every Create & Make box will include recyclable items and/or craft supplies that have been donated or collected at the shop. These items are getting a second life in your box! We hope you will enjoy using them to create your work of art. When you are done, maybe you too can find another use for these items. If you have any unused art supplies or trays that you would like to return to us for use at the shop, please feel free to bring them back. Remember, an EARTH without “ART” is just “EH”, so let’s do our part to keep it around.
Do you want to do this project along with us in our Virtual Classroom or as a Virtual Party? We can make it happen! Boxes can be sent to each person that will attend and then a teachers fee will be added.
