Makers EDU

You have worked really hard to perfect your craft, but have you worked just as hard to make sure your brand and products are ready for the market place? Creating an awesome product is really only half of the sellable item, let’s make sure you have a whole product to present to customers.

If you are an artist or maker who needs help preparing your work for sale in a retail setting, online, or even better prepare yourself for craft shows, take advantage of the guidance and success of the Maker’s EDU program. Shop owner and new product inventor, Kristin LaRoy, has been working with artists for over 8 years. She teaches techniques on creating a meaningful brand, product packaging that will help your goods sell,  pricing that helps you generate profit, and essential marketing strategies to grow your artisan business.

Join the Makers EDU program to learn about these four areas OR just choose the areas you need help with. Each of these small group sessions will allow you time to learn more, bounce ideas off others, and gain helpful critiques to make your products stand out to buyers. As we work through each of these topics we will spotlight your brand and products to give direct feedback. Following our last class we will hold a Makers Market for our participants. This market will be held by invitation only to the participants who have attended at least 4 of the 8 classes.  This is a great opportunity to see how your products will be received by customers and gauge interest in your brand/product line.
