Join us on a time-traveling adventure through the enchanting world of “The Little House” by Virginia Lee Burton! In this captivating class, we’ll dive into the whimsical tale of a tiny house nestled in a quiet neighborhood and discover how the seasons and progress transform its surroundings. During each 14-week semester-long class, we will learn about art and artists from a variety of art eras and the significance of the artwork in history. Along with our historical artists, we will study contemporary artists who use similar techniques and ideas in their work today. Through hands-on projects and activities, students will have the opportunity to employ what they learn about these old masters and new makers.
