Description

Fabrics and other textiles take 200+ years to decompose and in the last 20 years textile waste has doubled to an estimated 14 million tons. OMG! Today as you learn more about the ecological impact of this type of waste, let’s learn how to change this by refashioning our unwanted threads into new purposeful goods.

During this half day class each student will receive a course booklet to help with our exploration of this subject and creation of our artwork. As students leave, they will be taking with them their finished masterpiece(s), booklet and resources to continue exploring this topic at home!
