Description

Take a tour through the provinces of the far east as we explore the rich culture of China! In this class we will visit some of China’s amazing landmarks, learn a little about the lunar calendar, and study several Chinese art forms. Paint a Chinese scroll, try your hand at a little classical calligraphy, and construct a paper lantern from an old hong bao envelope!

During this half day class each student will receive a course booklet to help with our exploration of this subject and creation of our artwork. As students leave, they will be taking with them their finished masterpiece(s), booklet and resources to continue exploring this topic at home!
