Description
Access to water has always been critical to the survival of cultures throughout time. Not only has it been used for nourishment, transportation, agriculture, and industry, it can also be harnessed to create power: hydroelectricity. Join us as we explore the power of water in our homes and in our communities and build a miniature water turbine from recyclables!
During this half day class students will explore their subject through the help of our teachers, virtual experiences and guest artists or career experts in the field. As students leave, they will be taking with them their finished works and resources to continue exploring this topic at home!
