As Highlights most prolific Hidden Picture illustrator and chapter book author, Tim Davis combines the storytelling techniques of both mediums during this series. Learn how the art of Hidden Picture illustration can be compared to animals of the natural world who use hiding tricks like camouflage everyday. Then explore Island Life with some of Davis’ favorite creatures from his book The Island Rule. Through this series students will develop their powers of observation, drawing, and storytelling, while learning about cross-cultural experiences and our natural environments.
