Description

What is the trick of writing a limerick? What if I want to be free to not rhyme? What if the shape of my poem could be the same as its subject? Couplets, quatrains, cinquains – are they about more than the number of lines? Can I write a diamante that sparkles like a diamond? It’s time to find out and try your hand (and the pen that its holding) at shaping your very own collection of poetry.

During this half day class each student will receive a course booklet to help with our exploration of this subject and creation of our artwork. As students leave, they will be taking with them their finished masterpiece(s), booklet and resources to continue exploring this topic at home!
