Way in the back of the refrigerator, Mr. Lemon and his friends knew they’d never get a chance to be enjoyed by anybody. They were too spoiled and sour. The more they thought about it, the more sour they got.
When Mort the mushroom overhears spoiled food planning a very sour scheme he knows he must sound a warning to other good food in the kitchen, especially sweet Ms. Sugarbowl! Can Mort then rescue his friends as well?
Local Author and Illustrator Tim Davis wrote the popular Mort and the Sour Scheme in 1985, one of his first works of fiction. Davis is also known as a prolific illustrator working with Highlights, illustrating over 500 Hidden Pictures to his credit. If you are in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, you can bet Tim Davis is at one of the many local coffee shops or at TR Makers Co!
