Description

We are working with a BIG masterpiece in mind. Our Juniors will have the chance to leave a lasting imprint on the city of Travelers Rest as we work together to paint a mural in town. Students will get to experience what it is like to paint an oversize masterpiece, joining mural artist, Elizabeth Kinney, for the half day event. The mural painted during this event will become a piece of public artwork, for all visitors and residents to enjoy for years to come. During this half day event, students will be learning these new techniques at age appropriate levels. Older students will be challenged to think outside the box and grow their own creative style. Registration will continue until the Monday prior to class or until all spots are sold.

Guest Artist Elizabeth Kinney has been creating unique murals and oversized art for the Greenville and Upstate of South Carolina for over 3 years. One of her most popular murals sits in the Village of West Greenville on the side wall of the restaurant know as The Anchorage.
