Alexander Calder is a 20th Century artist known as the inventor freely moving kinetic sculpture.  In this study, we’ll be exploring the contributions that he and other Modern artists made to the world of art as we know it today, as well as creating some kinetic sculptures of our own, complete with multiple moving parts! Homeschool Study challenges each student academically and artistically with age appropriate levels in mind. As a tool for learning, each student will receive a study booklet to help with our exploration of this subject and creation of our artwork and final Makers project. As students leave the half day class, they will be taking their finished masterpiece(s), study booklet and a challenge to continue exploring this topic at home.
