Countdown to Christmas with us! Each Saturday before Christmas, the Makers will be holding free ornament making at the shop! Their will be an new ornament to make each week and this activity is for kids and all kids at heart… that means you too adults! 🙂 Our youngest makers, 4 years and under, may need an adult to help work with their project, but we are certain they will create some beautiful ornaments for the tree or to add to the top of family gifts!
Ornament project can be completed in 15 min or less. Some participants may find this activity too fun to stop, so in some cases it may be slightly longer than 15 min. Check the Ornament making times each Saturday as they may vary slightly due to private events and extended shop hours.
Let us know your coming to one of these events by adding this event to your cart, at checkout (this event is Free, so no credit card is needed to checkout) leave us a NOTE in the Additional Information and let us know how many, your date(s) and either morning or evening time you will be attending. This will help us plan our staff, however pre-Registration for these events is not required and walk-ins are welcome. Just come have fun and make with us!
Ornament Making Projects
December 7th :: Ornament Stitchery
10:30a-12:30p and 3:30p-5:30p
Using string we will wrap and stitch a bit of flair to naturally dehydrated fruit slices or stick shaped stars or trees.
December 14th :: Ornament Origami
10:30a-12:30p and 3:30p-8:30p
Using hand picked papers of all types we will create beautifully folded ornaments of three different types.
December 21st :: Ornament Miniatures
10:30a-12:30p and 3:30p-7:00p
Using felt, yarn and other fun fabrics supplies we will make miniature gnome and fairy ornaments.
