Description
This year students can gain skills in creating handmade works of art as well as learning to brand, package and get their work ready to sell just like a Maker! This 14 week afterschool series will take students on an exploration of 3 different makers techniques allowing them to try, create and experiment with making their own handmade works. As the semester progresses students will begin to focus on one technique they liked the best to create “products” that they will make, build packaging and branding, getting their goods ready to sell. At the end of each semester the TR Makers Co will host a Makers Market for all our students, elementary and juniors, at which point they will be introduced as Makers and gain the experience of talking to visitors and selling their work.
Registration and Fees – PLEASE READ
$305 per semester with a $36 registration fee per child per year
- Registration fees are due with your first payment to hold a students’ space. Registration fees are non-refundable. This fee helps to provide your student with their sketchbooks, work in progress boxes, supplies used in their sellable products, as well as the production of the end of semester markets.
- Tuition fee includes all the tools, materials and weekly artist instruction.
- Tuition payment can be made in 4 payments of $76.25 (at registration, Feb 1st, Mar 1st, Apr 1st)
- Discount your tuition payment by 10% when you pay for a full semester at registration.
