Arts Lead Learning – Homeschool Classes

Ready to learn by making? TR Makers Co. is offering 14 newly-created Arts Lead Learning (ALL) half-day classes along with an art history semester-long program, Masters & Makers, during this 2024-2025 academic school year.

ALL half-day classes occur on select Fridays for students (ages 5-12). Taking on subjects like Life Science, Literature, Physics, Mathematics, and more, each class will include a multi-disciplinary approach to creative learning, utilizing techniques across multiple art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, architecture, literature, dance, drama, and music.

Additionally, our teachers use a variety of techniques during each lesson to help students of all learning styles to understand and comprehend each area of study. Lessons have been designed with specific age ranges and multiple ability levels in mind.

Throughout class students will use these art forms to help create two to three Makers projects that reflect the academic content studied, allowing students to create tangible reminders of the lessons they’ve learned. Each academic lesson includes two to three Makers projects as we allow the Arts to Lead our Learning process. We will use various hand-building and artisan techniques to create a finished project which relates to our area of study for that class.  Once finished, students will have both a booklet completed during class and their final projects to help remind them of the lessons learned.

During our half-day classes, students are dropped off for in-studio participation. Come join us for a specific class or sign up for multiple classes!
