Description

There are LOADS of factors an engineer must consider before constructing bridges. Discover the importance of tension, compression, and foundation when building these structures. Come away with an understanding of the basic process of building a bridge and how these elements play out as we analyze examples of current day bridges including our very own Liberty Bridge in downtown Greenville!

During this half day class students will explore their subject through the help of our teachers, virtual experiences and guest artists or career experts in the field.  As students leave, they will be taking with them their finished works and resources to continue exploring this topic at home!
