Description

How does someone design a room in a house… or an office building… or a restaurant… or even a retail space? Interior designers are well prepared for the job and often trained in both residential and commercial design. Find out more about their role in creating functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Meet an upstate industry professional and take your new skills to work using the principles learned to design your own room.

During this half day class students will explore their subject through the help of our teachers, virtual experiences and guest artists or career experts in the field.  As students leave, they will be taking with them their finished works and resources to continue exploring this topic at home!

Date In Studio:

  • Friday, Oct 14  Juniors (ages 11-16) – Afternoon Session 1p-4p
