Spot patterns in nature’s mesmerizing shapes\, discover the rhythm of musical patterns and explore dazzling geometric art. During each 14-week semester-long class\, we will learn about art and artists from a variety of art eras and the significance of the artwork in history. Along with our historical artists\, we will study contemporary artists who use similar techniques and ideas in their work today. Through hands-on projects and activities\, students will have the opportunity to employ what they learn about these old masters and new makers. \nRegistration for this class is done at the beginning of the semester and will continue until the class is full.
