DESCRIPTION:Spread your wings and take flight into the world of birds!  Explore the marvels of migration and avian architecture. From tiny hummingbirds to majestic eagles\, we’ll learn about their unique features and create colorful artwork inspired by these feathered friends. During each 14-week semester-long class\, we will learn about art and artists from a variety of art eras and the significance of the artwork in history. Along with our historical artists\, we will study contemporary artists who use similar techniques and ideas in their work today. Through hands-on projects and activities\, students will have the opportunity to employ what they learn about these old masters and new makers. \nRegistration for this class is done at the beginning of the semester.
